Simple DIY Toothpaste

This recipe for do it yourself toothpaste is very simple and basic. Once I make this, I put it in a small glass jar on my bathroom counter.

Ingredients
1/4 Cup Organic Coconut Oil
4 heaping tbsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Sea Salt
10 drops Peppermint Essential Oil ( I use Young Living Essential Oils)
Mix together all ingredients in a container.
I prefer to use glass so that there’s no possibility of plastic/BPA leaking into the mixture.
It will thicken more  once the coconut oil settles after being mixed up so do not add too much extra baking soda.
Add to a pretty small glass jar and place on your bathroom counter. Just dip your toothbrush in the mix and brush away! you can also add paste to a store- bought empty tube that you can squeeze.
Remember that this is not going to be a fizzy, foaming toothpaste like store- bought. This is all natural and will leave a clean , smooth feeling.
